Thanks to everyone who's given to Travis Helm's new campaign against Liz Cheney in Wyoming's congressional race! I've been hanging around Cheyenne and had a chance to learn some things that make this race look much more competitive than your election spreadsheet would suggest.

Liz Cheney is vulnerable for several reasons: 1. She's not from the district and has never lived here. Wyoming is not a place that likes to be run by outsiders. 2. She's pushed for Federal control of public lands (to sell to energy companies), another policy that is not popular

3. She started her political career by running against a beloved senator. There's lingering bad blood from that. 4. Wyoming has a popular Democrat (@MaryforWyoming) running for governor, and the Democrats are running a unified field strategy. The Republican field is split 7 ways

5. Cheney has not raised a lot of money. 6. In a state where the politicos know each other personally, she is conspicuously absent from her district. So let's see what happens when we run a strong campaign against another weak incumbent! Help Travis here:https://secure.actblue.com/donate/full_court_press …
