$1000-$2500 in a congressional race is hardly bought and paid for by a company the size of Facebook. Always good to see where the money is, for sure, but that amount just isn't noteworthy.

You're missing the point; the maximum legal contribution from company PACs is small. When Facebook gives a legislator as much as it's allowed to give, the signal is very clear.
