Using it is the equivalent of painting a big target on your back. Tor browser bundle is the target of many bad people; Chrome is far more secure. Fingerprintable ID is not usually a concern for the people we are trying to protect.

I'm with you on the first part. I guess if a candidate doesn't want their opponent tracking their IP and seeing they're reading their page on farm subsidies or whatever, this is a fine practice.
