FEC rules require that people donating to campaigns list their employer. So I'm able to provide this "leaderboard" for which companies have the most employees donating to the Great Slate, along with the total amount given:pic.twitter.com/m2wmBHvQ9A

CORRECTION: I misread the opensecrets UI. Google/Alphabet the company has given $610K total to Republican House candidates, which is 6x what employees have given to the Great Slate, not 14x.
$1.4M is the total amount from Google to both parties, not the amount to Republicans. Total to House/Senate Republicans is a still hefty $300,000.
Also, this Google data includes contributions from individuals (including employees), not just "Google the company."
Facebook the company has given $79,000 to House Republicans, including $5000 to Devin Nunes (!?). https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/pacgot.php?cmte=C00502906&cycle=2018 …. Meanwhile, Facebook employees have given $25K to the Great Slate
The moral of the story is just this—if you work at a big tech company, it's probably donating to politicians against your interests. So please, talk to coworkers about the Great Slate (and other candidates you like), and help offset the damage!https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …
