@jmissig there is no requirement to relinquish passports and citizenship when you’re naturalized. But some countries don’t allow dual citizenship and make you forfeit it when you become an American.

I mean, I know that they don’t forcefully take passports away from you, nor is there a legal prohibition against dual citizenship. I just figured the oath had some intent behind it.

it’s an odd grey area. The oath is unambiguous,but at no point in the process do they mention anything about your other nationality
