Any scenario where Trump is impeached (remember that impeachment is the House part, removal the Senate part) fuels a 'stabbed in the back' narrative where those people unable to win against the People's President at the polls are trying to bring him down the only way they can

As of today, yes. There are scenarios that look more like Nixon’s downfall. Depends who flips, and how compelling (and irrefutable to nearly all) the evidence is.
