Since you have to use an Authenticator OTP for mobile logins, why do you need the security key as well?

because the authenticator code can be phished, while the security key can’t. Authenticator is great, but not as good as a key

Fair, but if the OTP has to be enabled anyway, aren’t you at risk even if you also have the key set up? Since an attacker can always ask Google to accept the OTP...

the risk I’m talking about is someone showing you an impostor website, and you typing in the password and OTP code
