issue because rarely do real solutions for real problems scale like that. And pressures funded startups to sell off to large payouts — often killing any chance of "making the world a better place". Or so it seems.

I’ve also heard that it’s a complex mix of people with too much money trying to max returns over things that offer low interest.

It's because a trillion dollars or so of consumer debt has been printed, spent, and accumulated in the hands of a few and there is literally no place to put it.
