People who support UBI could learn a thing or two from coal politics. Work is also about identity, community, and purpose, not just survival

OK then: much prefer that to "you're worthless and I don't want you to have any quality of life (and poss starve/ become homeless) unless you can prove to us you're 100% committed to becoming a productive member of society" (current sit in UK at least)

I 100% agree that work is about more than survival btw. But I don't think that is a strong argument against UBI.
