In Denmark we pay 25% - the municipality pays the remaining 75% (but we have very high income and property taxes)

I am moving from Berlin (€100 / mo, 45% inc. tax rate) to Philly (1,400 mo, 36% inc tax rate). I like Berlin's a lot more.

Higher tax, well run, rate gets me way more services (aka bulk buying) and way less stress than negotiating each deal myself.
