One catch: You normally get paid for unused PTO when leaving a job. “Unlimited” means you always have 0 unused days.

Very true. But, accruing days is also an incentive to not take PTO.

Lucky to work where this works. In the beginning most rarely took time because we wanted to succeed. Now we all take time as desired/need
