yubico neo supports NFC, but i think ios not supported ;( many want recoverability, and then email is still achilles heal

if we need recoverability (token/phone lost), in many cases email is the recovery path (+ secret question/SMS/backup auth)

yes, but very possible to lose key, phone stolen, etc. whay recovery path for email access are you advocating, if any?

the solution is redundancy. Have several keys on your account (maybe cross-verify with a friend), print and save recovery codes
