@Pinboard in Finnish (and German I suppose) people can be ranked by their ability to join compound words correctly.

@CB_27 it helped me to think of the apostrophe as a little “i”. Works well for every case except “it has” => “it’s” - Show replies

@Pinboard those are sound errors. In fr ench we have "ces" and "c'est" pronounced the same way. Hard to catch when you learned vocally first -
