The only safe way to run WordPress is locally, and then publish the flat files to your site. Is there a tool that lets people do this?
@wirehead2501 I don’t expect WP to decide “he’s right, better change everything” but I want people to know they can self-host more safely

@Pinboard totally, but idk if "don't use WP" helps. i say "turn on auto-updates and be careful of plugins", but i'm a shill ofc :P -

@Pinboard honestly i would love it if people who were going to self-host took it seriously. most of WP that gets hacked is ancient versions. -
