If you aren't quite Facebook'd out yet, the company reports its quarterly earnings today at a little after 1pm PT. the expectation is that they will again reap record profits, though the wildcard is how Apple's changes to mobile ad tracking will affect revenues.

interesting moves: 1. FB is authorizing a $50 billion share buyback plan 2. More interesting, it's breaking out financial reporting of Facebook Reality Labs, the wing of FB responsible for Oculus, VR, AR etc.

It's because FRL is a cash suck. Long term investments in the future that will bring down overall profitability. they want to show that facebook still makes monney with its family of apps, i.e. FB, IG, WA, Messenger
