I understand reporting on the fundraising of Senate candidates but big picture, who was the last major-party Senate candidate in a potentially-competitive state who didn't raise a ton of money in the end.

I'm fine with people spinning dark tales of dirty money to explain Sinema and Manchin's behavior (though I personally think that's a silly explanation), but if you're going to do that at least pick a reasonable mechanism of corruption, not a "bribes" section in FEC filings.
