The Biden Administration's plan for offshore wind farms is to lease them by 2025—potentially one year after it is out of office. Just like British plans to build nuclear reactors that only go online in the 2030's, the climate crisis framing doesn't match the laid-back schedule.

@patrickc, it should not take more time to build a nuclear reactor in 2021 than it did to invent and build the first one. That's even more true for offshore wind. The article you linked to is talking about allocating additional areas for offshore wind - there are a few areas already allocated and there's a large project underway that's expected to start producing power in 2023 which is a bit better.
