These PAC donations, capped by Federal law at $5,000 per election, are tiny compared to Senate campaign budgets (in the tens of millions), which makes me wonder even more why senators whose job it is to oversee Facebook and other tech giants continue to accept them.

These donations are also dwarfed by the amounts these senators all spend advertising on Facebook. You can think of them as a courtesy kickback for money spent. I'll update the spreadsheet with those numbers a little later.
