NZ is a lovely country that should only be lightly mocked, not hated. I give them credit for not running refugee torture camps, but not too much credit, for their politicians have the advantage of not having to decide what to do when you have an island 500km from Jakarta

Not running torture camps and using dodgy temporary protection tricks means that unlike us they meet the bare minimum standards of how to humanely treat refugees, but it would also be nice to see them 5.8x their refugee intake to match Australia per capita
