Come on, man. Biden has been President since January. Even *Trump* found a way to waive Afghan visa requirements when it suited him. Biden not only ignored calls to expedite visa processing, but falsely stated in July that it would be illegal to let applicants wait stateside.

I really find this line of argument baffling. The visa backlog is something Biden could have solved at any point through administrative action. He had a completely free hand in deciding what do fo first—withdraw US forces or cut the red tape—and owns his choice.

The idea that we could've magically solved a 20k backlog in a pinch is wishcasting and not at all reflective of what's involved in issuing them and how broken and dismantled the process had been when he took over.

There are at least two trivial solutions—processing people stateside and parole (the mechanism Trump used to get Afghans into the US without a visa). This was a decision Biden made, not circumstances forced upon him. Be honest with yourself, What Biden Has Done!
