Reminds me of my friend who - blinded by love - paid for two daughters to attend a creative arts degree program. I think he's still paying down. The wonderful daughters, needless to say, do not work in the arts. People want to believe. Even people who should so much know better.

They are all great people, but they couldn't afford it. (My daughter's degree is also in a murky-income category, but in our case we can afford the spend.)
