but you're going beyond that to say that the benefits should be celebrated and that we should stop being a "debbie downer" about all the bad stuff the benefits of climate change are trivial compared to the hazards, we should absolutely focus our attention on the latter

I think catastrophizing is a political dead end, and that if we ever want to see climate laws pass, we should talk up the economic and innovation opportunities that come with acting early on mitigation.
