Correcting this earlier tweet. The peripherals that ship with the iMac charge via a cable that fits the device, but if you order a trackpad separately, you do get a USB-A charging cable that does not fit the computer. Ask me how I know!pic.twitter.com/KalCaOShVT

The USB-C situation is a disaster, but I understand that Apple refuses to go back to USB-A. So the company should compromise and ship its next generation of computers with USB-B.

The connectors will have a slider that moves the pins in and out so that they can express any cable gender identity.
