Every computer in Apple's current lineup would be massively improved by two USB-A ports, replaceable memory, and an SD card reader.

The designers at Apple should be forced to work on desks three inches deep and subsist on a diet of angel hair pasta until they get over the pointless fixation on thinness over functionality.

Fixed the tweet so I would't be spreading lies. But there's no such thing as a nice USB-C cable.

It's gorgeous! But in the general case I hate that there's 50 flavors of USB-C cable and no way to figure out which does what.

yeah it’s not much of a “standard” — an all-purpose cable probably costs too much I guess. But let’s not forget that USB A is also terrible

Going back to the situation where you have to plug cables in at random until you find one that works is too much 90's nostalgia for my taste. At least the USB-A stuff just works once you flip the connector over twice.
