Wouldn’t say I’m genuinely into cryptocurrency, but I am impressed by the effort to migrate Ethereum off of proof of work in ETH2. 99.95% reduction in power usage!

@ArweaveTeam https://www.arweave.org/ ) is a scalable permanent immutable storage system. You pay once and, if the system works as intended, the data is preserved forever.

Iota is a distributed, immutable ledger that’s fee-free. Posting one record costs one coin, and validating one transaction earns you one coin. I see value in blockchain technologies as an distributed ledger, rather than the ledger itself being the currency
