Yeah - my point is narrower - that independent of the prospects for Democrats winning, the problems of American democracy are real, and getting worse. That many Democrats conflate the former with the latter is certainly a problem, but the latter is still really big.

I think of the voting restrictions as more of the downstream effect of having two disjoint public spheres that have lost contact with each other, and one of which is unmoored from reality entirely. If I could fix or change one thing that would be it
