Question: when trying to effect change on a national level, has any group looked into protesting/occupying directly at the corporate offices of arms manufactures, war profiteers, and oil companies (etc) rather than their PR offices in Washington DC?

Yes! This was a big strategy and effort during the Vietnam war where you had protests at business headquarters like Honeywell when trying to get them out of the war business. Same with protesting annual meetings.

Seems like a better strategy, but idunno. Feel like going to politicians (without handfuls of cash) is a waste of time.

I think the
@pinboard solution is to just go to the politicians with cash. He’s had a targeted fund-raising effort for Dems in districts worth spending money in for, I think, several election cycles now.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
Yeah, but I now think this strategy was a mistake.
