But unlike at Google, more than a third of the company walked? Who's really having delusions of grandeur here? Alternatively, without any iOS devs, they finally have bigger problems than the ecosystem

I can’t imagine that Basecamp wanted a third of their employees to take the offer any more than Google would. Even if the only lesson here is, “offer different severance terms”, I can’t imagine that Basecamp or other companies will be keen to repeat this experience

I propose we wait and see how Basecamp is doing six months from now. I suspect these kinds of policies will become universal as the activist group goes further off into loopiness
