Do you think it's plausibly alien in origin? My initial reaction is it's likely to be some sort of test craft or even glitch, but I could be unfairly dismissing possibility. It doesn't seem that plausible another country has significantly more advanced tech either I guess.

I find it completely and utterly baffling. I wonder if the reluctance to engage this is a function of all the alternatives being so wildly unlikely.
