People who can't foresee that anyone under the age of 50 with a pulse is going to go out and party on the first warm day of spring are still deluding themselves about human nature over a year into this pandemic. Too many are vaccinated and have been cooped up for too long to care

so funny story. You know that mars simulation they ran in hawaii or whatever where 4-8 people would be cooped up in a tiny space for like a year? One of the primary results: guess what personality trait everyone HAAAATED in their teammates more than any other? G'wan, guess.

Can you describe the psychological crippling? Also the economic crippling? Is the latter not completely under the control of government? Government that wouldn't provide reasonable subsistence payments & now does as the country reopens with advice like:pic.twitter.com/6XX77NeCLF

What else would you like the government to do for “subsistence payments”? Third round of stimulus checks and for the unemployed, who really need the help, UI payments exceed the weekly wages for many of the recipients. Savings and poverty rates are better than before the pandemic
