When I need to write test suites for api's i just use... https://requests.readthedocs.io/en/master/
That's my go to tool as well.
The product itself is about as obnoxious and unfriendly too these days
Oh heavens friend, someone suggested you use postman for api testing?? Maybe five or ten years ago but now?? Heavens to Betsy that gives me chest pains...
I'd recommend this niche tool called "python" for API testing (unironically having used both it and postman idk why you'd prefer the latter for a testing suite)
Do you have a preference between unittest, pytest, or something else?
Maybe try https://jmeter.apache.org/ . It's ancient, open-source, and can test anything you can dream up.
