Ocasio-Cortez spent at least $4.2 million on Facebook ads in 2019-2020. Almost all these ads simply solicit further donations in a kind of fundraising ouroboros. The difference is that AOC has a lot of potential power over Facebook as a legislator and potential regulator, and the potential of that relationship is diminished by her heavy (and apparently unnecessary) reliance on their product.
