@Pinboard has Pinboard’s API been down for a week+? After years of happy usage, in the past few weeks @Pushpin_app (iOS) refuses to download any bookmarks or tags after a successful api auth handshake; Pushpin support suggests this is due to a Pinboard API issue.

I'm not aware of any sitewide issues. Can you test an actual API call from the command line? It's hard to debug problems via app otherwise

For sure, good call. Will follow up with a log

Took 30 sec to fetch 14 kb (200 bookmarks), but a GET to Pinboard’s /posts/all worked fine. If that’s the right API endpoint to test, then it’s looking more like a
@Pushpin_app problem. https://gist.github.com/jm3/29a45a6f94d465f0db3ad0bd8cdc9528 …pic.twitter.com/mmiu1qnZGV

Ah, remove the count limit. Pushpin needs to pull all bookmarks to check for updates to existing bookmarks since there’s not a built-in API call that returns recent updates.

If this were available, we could make some massive improvements to the speed and reliability of sync.

my Mac took 39.40 sec to fetch 9.79 MB (40K lines) of bookmark XML — all my data, using GET /posts/all Doesn’t that suggest a
@Pushpin_app issue, not a Pinboard API issue, if the API serves up all my links in under a minute, while the app displays no data even after 10 minutes?pic.twitter.com/PtGaHMbBCC
