There's a nice Russian proverb that "morning is wiser", and I will heed it, especially with how much of the vote still needs to be counted. But I want to reassure everyone that once the dust settles, we'll keep working the problem with mulish tenacity, until we find a way to win.

If a fraction of the money going to the KY/SC Senate races instead went to the Great Slate/State Slate, might have been an entirely different story.

I think we achieved our goal of adequately funding these races. I doubt that further investment would have changed any outcome tonight
