But they reinforce each other. Broken voting mechanics cause the broken political system to continue to become *more* broken. RCV isn't a panacea, but it will help over the long term to stop breaking the political system.

If the political system is so broken, then no single change will totally fix the system. But if we discard and discount each change because it only helps a little bit and doesn't fix the problem entirely, we'll never get to a functional political system.
