1. Can’t candidates pay the same types of folks for the same kind of consulting? If you squish a ballooon of grift, where does the grift go? 2. Depending on the PAC, maybe we want to feed those folks. But some truth in labeling would be nice :)

It depends on the nature of the consulting. For most PACs, the majority of that work is around finding ways to raise additional money for the PAC. It's a very top-heavy system
