You can expect all fundraising records to fall when quarterly filings finally go up on October 15. But this money has almost entirely concentrated at the top, in a year where we are close to winning state houses nationwide. It is extremely frustrating but still fixable!

Dumb question for those unfamiliar with FEC regulations. What is the max you can give to the state/great slate? Is it just the 2,800 max per candidate, i.e., if there are 10 great spate candidates the max would be 28,000 if you split your contributions evenly?

You can give $2,800 per Federal candidate (the Great Slate). On the State Slate, the limits are state-specific, ranging from a maximum of $1,000 per candidate for Florida and Minnesota up to unlimited donations for Iowa and Pennsylvania.
