I'm not Facebook's #1 fan, but I think the current freakout about inept criminals using a private groups feature on the site just like millions of non-criminals do is a bit over the top.

Yeah, Facebook's the worst, etc. But this was a private Facebook group that would not have appeared in recommendations

ah, I missed the"private groups" part, my apologies. I agree that FB probably shouldn't be policing the content of private group chats, just refraining from taking part in the radicalizion process. it's... not a high bar.
