What many donors want is entity that you can donate to that will allocate the money to whichever candidate needs it most, on a dynamic basis. But such a thing is not allowed by U.S. campaign law. Anyone claiming to do so is a grift paying themselves a nice salary out of donations

One thing not many people know is that if you give money and have second thoughts, you can ask for it back! Campaigns aren't obligated to honor that request, but many will. So if you don't think money you gave to big name campaigns can be usefully spent, it's worth trying a redo
