Of course. The final fundraising number is scrutinized by both parties and guides decisions about whether to add support, or more importantly withdraw it. If Republicans see a strong fundraising number in CO-3, for example, they may pull outside ads from there altogether.

Yeah, it can get pretty 3D chess, but generally speaking strong fundraising report = very good for the candidate
