In fact, every one of our five house races is either within the margin of error or (in Golden's case) comfortably in the lead. Winning wasn't even the aim of our effort—we're trying to help Senate races—but we may get it as free bonus. 48 hours left in the fundraising quarter!

I can assure you this is not a problem on any Great Slate campaign, let alone on any state house campaign. In fact, a lot of downballot races have the opposite problem—they can't afford to make ad buys since the overfunded Senate campaigns have bid the price up so high.pic.twitter.com/Wc2SFXv67w

I donated to the Great Slate. But where do you see that the IA-4 candidate is close? I only saw one poll (from July) that showed him way behind.
-
There's a more recent poll that shows him within a (fat) margin of errorhttps://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/politics/iowa-poll/2020/09/20/iowa-poll-all-four-iowas-congressional-races-up-grabs/5829937002/ …

Any opinion on whether great slate or state slate is more useful right now? Or just split it down the middle?
-
I think the Federal races are more useful right now just because they are coming up on a major reporting deadline. That in turn determines how much support they get from outside
