Storm Lake is not Royal, though. It's larger and much more diverse, although still completely dependent on Tyson. An interesting exercise would be to determine how much more those workers could be paid if the food processing plants were employee-owned.
And most of the surrounding area is still private farmland, locking those immigrants out of any alternative but working for Tyson or probably lower-wage temp farm labor.
