You seem to be showing very little understanding of how the Senate works. I know you know, so I'm very confused. There are many, many relevant hypotheticals that rest solely in the prerogative of Mitch mcconnell. To suggest otherwise is just idiotic.

For your statement to be true, members of congress would need to be able to exercise their powers without the consent of chamber leadership, which is absolutely not how the US system works.
