The censorship potential of moving ideas you don't like to the second half of a non-fiction book is underappreciated. There's a reason no one talks about Stephen Hawking's call for violent revolution in the closing pages of A Brief History of Time

Except if it's in the closing pages there's always the risk of smart alecks starting from the end (e.g so that they can claim to have read the whole thing). Really there's a sweet spot between the half mark and the two-thirds.
