There is a sweet spot between AirBnB (stay in some stranger's IKEA-furnished passive income project) and long-stay hotel (aggressive attempts at daily room cleaning and resupply) that pandemic hotels have almost managed to hit. Just open the swimming pool and leave me some dishes

The one other hotel change I'd like to see is moving check-in and front desk outdoors where feasible, rather than having unmasked staff stand behind a plastic partition in an unventilated space all day. It's pointlessly risky to staff members

My "favorite" hygiene claim is that we can't have hot breakfast here is a juicebox and a green banana. One hotel had hot individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches to go only, that was actually really nice, more of that please.
