So a question for Pinboard users especially. How big should I let an archiving account (or a regular account, for that matter) get before I start to cut people off? I'm talking in terms of bookmarks and terabytes stored. What's a generous allowance for both in your eyes?
The expected lifetime is the missing part of the equation. I do all my own backups so it's all just a question of "how long will these boxes of disks last for"

2 to 4 years tops. You back them up to other disks, which costs time and bandwidth and disks

Or you could just copy some other service provider’s cost per byte as an ok starting point
