My meta-pitch for people to give politically right now, not necessarily to the candidates that I espouse: do you remember how many of you were pledging in the fall of 2016 to do anything in your power to stop Trump? This is the time to make good on that pledge, even if it stings

Any advice on how to analyze if a candidate is a good bet for cash (they have between 30 and 70% chance to win,not 0 or 100)?

If you're looking for winnable races, a good proxy is past vote margin in the district. Those can move by 5% but are unlikely to move by 20%. That said, the further down the ballot you go, the less predictable races are, and there are good reasons to support long-shot candidates
