Traveling right now is very awful. Avoid it if you can. If you can’t avoid: - Don’t count on room cleaning or toiletries - Bring your own soap - Expect at least one mask to vanish into thin air, plan how to wash them - Expect everything to take 50% longer - Plan food in advance

I don’t think any of the hotels I’ve been to have overreacted. In fact, most seem to be doing a bare minimum to comply with CDC requirements.

I certainly wouldn’t let their staff into my room if they offered cleaning. Nor would I want to use any toiletries they handled.
