Yeah before online no-one ever quoted pithy one-liners at anyone for any reason. I mean, are you going for contempt for comics, or the internet, or what here? Either way it doesn't matter, it's an attempt to belittle the criticism without engaging with it. =/

It's perfectly relevant. AOC is in no position to play nice when she's this far out ahead of the rest of the pack. If she's not absolutely crushing the living fuck out of her own campaigns that is something that will be aggressively used against her.

You don't need to run three million dollars of Facebook ads in a D+29 district. I don't know how else to put it. Her fundraising and spending are both a ridiculous indictment of a status quo, and she could lead by example with no harm to her prospects.

If this sort of attitude actually held any real world value, we might still have a Sanders campaign. Sorry her virtue signaling isn't up to scratch, but I'm not convinced it's a complete indictment of her arguments for changing the system. She has the right goal. Meanwhile...

It's conceivable. But I'm not sure that stating your point via an all out attack on the hypocrisy of one of the few candidates who is at least trying to do something about anything is the sort of constructive, straight forward engagement that leads people to a clear conclusion.

The Facebook part is the insult -- the injury is that she's siphoning off funds from where they could make a difference. Her hypocrisy is secondary to her selfishness. The characters in that cartoon need the things they are doing, she is just wasting money.
