I agree completely that getting Americans nationally to give your campaign millions of dollars that you can keep for future use is a show of support and strength. It's the spending part of the equation that I disagree with you on

It's just come across as an awkward attack on a progressive politician, in the aftermath of a larger campaign where trying to live up to progressive values as a selling point did not in fact seem to particularly help out at the end of the day. The point about facebook is legit.

Frank Lucas won 83% in his last contested primary. Since then, his hold is so secure that no one will even challenge him. Is that proof of anything?

Come to think I'm not even sure this is a thing, particularly. Which particular presidential candidate proved their valor with a hard run through a highly contested seat? Especially when things are gerrymandered to fuck. Obama won 70% of his senate seat, even.
